: Playa Blanca es un pequeño pueblo pesquero próspero y ocupado. Además de las magníficas playas, hay numerosos bancos, supermercados, farmacias, médicos, peluquerías, además de numerosas tiendas, restaurantes y bares. Hay un servicio religioso local la mayoría de los domingos. También podrás reservar excursiones por la isla, taxis acuáticos a las playas de Papagayo y tomar el ferry a Fuerteventura. Abundan los deportes acuáticos, con muchas opciones para bucear, navegar, pescar y hacer snorkel. El mejor surf está en Famara. Los taxis son muy comunes y baratos. Hay un servicio regular de autobús que opera por toda Playa Blanca, además de otro servicio a otros pueblos de la isla.

Mar 2026We have stayed at puerto chico 2/3 times per year over the last 10 years. Firstly Natalie and the other staff including the ground and cleaning staff are fantastic. I had a few health issues last year and Natalie did everything to move things for us which I was very grateful for. Our most recent stay was E which was a modern well maintained comfortable apartment. Really good standard. One thing people should bare in mind is that these are privately owned and some owner’s standards are not as good as others so make sure you look through the photos of the individual apartments before booking to make sure you are booking something that matches your expectations. There are some stunning apartments and some average ones. The grounds and layout is superb and as said before the staff are second to none. Already booked for Christmas and I dare say a few more for next year will be booked soon .

Jan 2026We have been staying in the apartments at Puerto Chico for over 10 years. It is a small, attractive site, close to the town centre but very quiet. It has convenient free parking right next to the site and two of the garden gates open straight out onto the promenade. The apartments are comfortable and well equipped. They are not all the same as each one is privately owned but the whole site is managed through an onsite office.

Oct 2025We stayed at Puerto Chico in a large bungalow with all the amenities of home. It was very well presented, modern and comfortable with a large private terrace. The views out to Fuertaventura and across the harbour were beautiful, the grounds are very well kept and the staff can’t do enough for you. Would highly recommend
